It's genuinely not personal. I thought your comments in this thread required addressing, as they paint a much more sympathetic picture of Nudger's final hours than is deserved. That's it, nothing more - no weird stalkerish edge or anything like that, I'd have responded exactly the same way if the posts were made by someone else.

    This can never be true.

He also looks like a member of the Bee Gees.

Not sure that answers the question considering my comments are way, way down the list of controversial ones posted on the BBS in the last 72 hours. Especially considering the consistency at which you appear to want to come at me.

Never said it was stalker like or anything, just painful - no doubt for all involved.

Are you really feigning surprise that this topic might pique my attention over others and suggesting that as evidence of a personal vendetta? Because that definitely would be disingenuous, and a bit sly.

Just from my point of view.
I have defended the admin’s position here, and despite what some might think I don’t think for a second that @Loko the Tyke has posted anything he believes to be either contentious or incorrect.

The problem he has is that in an effort to appear fair, he often falls into the sphere of appearing to undermine points he agrees with.

It seems to me he’s completely unfamiliar with the phrase ‘everything before the but is bulls hit’. To the point where he doesn’t see what he’s written in the same way it’s read by almost everyone else - at all.

It took me months of to and fro to realise this about him.

How condescending is this by the way? Jesus.

You say 'almost everyone else' yet it's always the same 3/4 names that appear in replies to me. Bit of a broad brush to be painting don't you think speaking on behalf of the majority of the BBS? It's not even a majority in this thread.

I'd love to know where I've undermined my own posts as well.

Don't see much point going over it all again
I don't think you have, don't worry about it.

Considering I've been pretty up front and outright in asking you what you hope to gain from continuously choosing to battle me, I don't think sly is a word I would have expected to come back.

I'm not feigning surprise - I'm actually genuinely surprised that you've challenged my comments to this level. Nothing disingenuous about it and full transparency on my part.

Not Nudger because there's no capital letters and there is an apology.

FFS you genuinely are beyond help (even beyond defending).

Should we open a poll to see how many people are aware of the phrase ‘everything before the but...?’

You really do have a persecution complex.

I don't for a second believe that you're genuinely surprised that I'd be more interested in this thread and posts which appear to explain/defend/excuse Nudger's behaviour than other threads posted in the last 72 hours, regardless of who posted them.

Well I am. Because there wasn't any defending or excusing, and surely you're allowed to discuss an explanation of something? Isn't that how conversation works, wondering about why someone said what they said? You can discuss the mentality and context of an action or an event without agreeing with it and condemning it at the same time.

So on that basis I am genuinely surprised.

Let's just move on. I mean you haven't responded to anything I typed in the reply I sent you and told me I'm beyond help and have a persecution complex. I mean considering you were talking about tone in words I'm surprised you don't see why I'd find you previous post condescending. Maybe it didn't read as you interpreted it?

Maybe we have different conversational styles, but I think it was reasonable to interpret what you said as playing down the severity of Nudger's comments, and you can't be surprised that I'd respond to anything that I read that way.

Don’t know why people can’t see Nudger comments for what it was, stupid and childish. He believed he was being called a racist unfairly and with out proof. So basically like a kid in a playground said well if I’m a racist your a rapist.

it got him banned, but it was obvious he didn’t believe your were a rapist and no one reading the thread did either.

I get the point but who is applying for jobs using their BBS name unless it’s your own name , apologies if your real name is Cod Eye :) . Nudger went too far by current standards , on the old board it wouldn’t have got a second glance ( I’m not saying that’s a good thing ) .
