    Are we buying DK, what is the real "price" in the deal

    Just got off the call. It was Nareev that called me.

    Q. When do they expect fans to be back in Oakwell?

    A. The start of next season inside oakwell unless government guidelines change.

    Q. If we manage to get to play off final how would tickets be distributed?

    A. It’s something we haven’t looked into yet as we have more hurdles in-front of us but we will be looking into it at the beginning of May and will let fans know ASAP.

    Q. What’s happening with the state of the pitch? It’s the worst I have seen it.

    A. Yes it is bad, I think it’s due to short turnaround from last season mixed with weather and games in short period of time. Eg sat, wednesday.

    Q. What’s happening with the ownership of Oakwell. Not 1 fan wants to be playing away from our Oakwell stadium.

    A. Conversation is ongoing between owners, Cryne family and the council. I don’t really want to get involved too much in this but I’m confident their is a resolution coming shortly and Barnsley fc will be playing at Oakwell next season

    Q. What’s the situation with Dike? He’s been a brilliant addition to the team, well done on getting the deal done. Could we make it a permanent deal? What’s his real cost?

    A. Well yes he has been brilliant and Dane Murphy deserves the credit. He worked tirelessly to get the deal done. From getting his visa sorted to getting the loan deal over the line. I can say that we do want to have him here permanently, we are in conversation over this but there are still a lot of factors in it. I can’t really say what the players actual value is it’s not for me to say.

    Q. Is there any further news on Alex Mowatts contract?

    A. We are always in conversation with Alex and we want Alex to be playing for Barnsley next season. Alex has told us that he is happy here and would love to stay but it all come down to personal reasons. Maybe the division we are in and if he gets an offer he can’t refuse.

    Not progressed anything on, but then I wouldn't expect or encourage anything of a revelation to be shared with a fan over the phone either.

    Always enjoy a good scam caller, play them like a fiddle so I'm glad I wasn't picked to ask questions to the BFC owners as I'd of sounded daft trying to wind them up
