    Not saying it should happen as such, but it's one-way things can be done. This sort of thing has happened before(although I can't remember who with)

    Look, none of us know the fees involved in the loan agreement. One side says its $20m, Murphy says it's in our price range. If it is a couple of million or so, then more fool Orlando for agreeing to such a shoddy deal for a player that is obviously going to be worth a fortune...

    I hope it's not the Danny Drinkwater or Sam Morsy deal all over again. It was my understanding that the Dike deal was a loan deal becoming permanent in the summer terms agreed signed sealed. It only went through as a loan because of the deadline.

    A bit like the Woodrow deal.

    Don’t think it was ever that. Only an option to buy. I think the Woodrow deal was announced as an obligation to buy rather than an option

    Lets get this right, Dike is not our player , we have no rights on him what so ever , he plays for Orlando & if they want to sell its likely to be to the highest bidder , the lad owes us nothing & where ever he goes surely he will go with our blessing

    Always thought it was a mistake to even bring up the option to buy when we brought him in. If we'd just announced the loan, most fans would just be happy that we brought a striker in at the time. Then if the option to buy was something the club took up, it would've been a pleasant surprise to many.

    Always better to under promise and over deliver, than the other way around.
