Sheffield Wednesday were magnanimous towards us before the derby and were dreading a tonking too. That went well.
Frankly, watching the EFL this season, they have have all been bad. One was so bad, that I swore in a post on here, when I had calmed down later,I apologised to Admin and everyone else. Perhaps it's because we are used to VAR?
https://www.skysports.com/football/...vid-pruttons-sky-bet-championship-predictions David Prutton regularly backs us to win. I think he's somehow got a soft spot for us.
Another interesting game. Reading are the first team this season which will have had a reasonable amount of time to prepare a response to the way we play - it'll be intriguing to see what they come up with.
They haven't looked good for ages but we've only won 3 out of the last 18 against them and they were all at their place. In fact we've not beat them at home since 1998!
I don't rate Reading - I think they are in a false position - they don't create many chances and I have seen many of their games where they have been totally dominated in terms of chances created, corners, possession in games etc, and yet still win by nicking a goal from two chances created in a game, I think we will come back rejuvenated from the break and have too much for them - Wednesday game was a game too far and we looked well off the pace compared to previous games so looking forward to this game - 3-0 Reds -
3/1 to score in both halves with Bet 365. Players well rested, ready to make up for the last match and our pitch should look better than it has for a while with two weeks to work on it in lovely weather. I think we will win 3-0 today maybe 3-1.
