I’ll tell you summat. Oostende must have some right defenders given Toby couldn’t get a sniff of a game there... On all seriousness though, when he came back I expected him to be shopped out to league one or two on loan. I didn’t see him being anywhere near good enough. He’s become integral to our back three and in particular the high line. His pace, but also his improved defending generally, are missed when Solly plays. He was switched to the left from the right today, with no real problems. Well played lad.
https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/spor...effield-united-yorkshire-connections-20324793 Speaking of Oostende it looks like our owners are going to get compo for another head coach as Sheffield United want their boss to take over from Wilder. I wonder if he will bring McGeehan and Thiam to Bramall Lane with him.
Cracking player. Seems like Struber froze him out for some reason. Genuinely pleased he's back and performing well enough to shut his critics up.
I think the glandular fever was the biggest problem there. It's a ******* of an illness that can take years to get over, so if he may just have never been fit enough.
A bit if patience and we fail to get promoted and I'm su Struber didn't want him before that either though
