Good little article that. Oh, and before I click 'Post Reply', it would be remiss of me to say something about how only real fans are allowed to he happy about it and if anyone has criticised the club in the past then they aren't allowed to give Dane a pat on the back.
Surprised it’s not been discussed much tbh. Distinctly possible. Would be surprised if there wasn’t at least a bid from somewhere
Barnsley are easily the most exciting club in the UK. The plan is working the boardroom know what they’re doing and team is feared across the leagues. I’ve never been more happy to be a fan, regardless of promotion.
There is no problem with constructive criticism Fonzie. But pure hatred of these owners still exists. It's only a matter of time that something will occur. True or indeed false and the knives are ready sharpened. Your comment on real fans. Is unwarranted. Most fans have respect for opposing views it happens both ways. It's how those views are interpreted. and spotting the difference. Between hate and reasoned arguments.
The idea of the coach leaving, and the team dismantling is hardly a cheery one though is it. Which is why I'd rather not think about what happens in the summer, and enjoy the rest of this season instead. On Ismael, he'll have to be very careful with his choice. We were working towards his pressing style off the ball for two years or so, he's come in, simplified things with the ball and had a lot of success. If he goes to a club that haven't been playing a similar style off the ball, that club will need to be patient with him, and there's not a lot of patience about in this sport.
Completely depends on the context, how you interpret it, and how you deliver it. I love these players we've got right now but I'm far less attached than I would have been in previous years because modern football isn't the same. Being realistic on the back of being successful doesn't have to be depressing. Frustrating maybe.
Starting to really warm to Dane. He speaks well and keeping us updated is all we ever asked for. I think he actually tells us a lot more about the goings on at the club than any other CEO tells their supporters. Club have got it right with these updates, so thankyou BFC.
I've read that about 4 times and I've still got no idea what you mean. The owners were criticised initially due to a number of mistakes they made. They then learned from this and have been rightly praised ever since. But the attitude of some is bizarre. If someone ever said a bad word about our owners, then that is seemingly held against them forever and used as a stick to beat them with.
Good idea - one further than this, why don't we get people to record a sort video message saying well done and a message to the team? Could edit and put them all together in a video. Get people to send them in via email, insta, facebook or whatever's best for you.
https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/300160-a-little-bit-jealous/ His interview has even got a mention on owls talk they don't care about us though.
I think it’s more likely that we’d go down that route. And probably via Twitter. Much easier for us to collate and put together a big video that the squad can watch together. Rather then handing bits of paper around. Something for us to look at towards the final week of the season.
On the same footing if anyone said anything good. They were labelled real fans. As a snide remark. As I said it Works both ways. You found the need to mention it. And some of the Bizzare stuff applies to some In both factions. Do you not agree. If not. Fair enough.
I still haven't a clue what you're trying to say, sorry. I mentioned it because I find it pathetic when the first thing certain posters say is "WELL DONE DANE, SOME ON HERE WILL BE GUTTED THAT HE'S COMMUNICATING WITH US" as though everyone wants the club to fail because we once said something negative. Now that is bizarre.
I suppose I was thinking of something for those of us not on Twitter or who don’t want to/can’t do a video.
