Think you have to credit Coventry too they’ve played well and executed a very clear game plan

Plus we’ve gave them the ball at nearly every opportunity .

100% this. Over the top criticism of our performance when credit to Coventry for being relentless from the very first second. They've approached today's game like no other team has against us. In our faces, made the came frantic, frenetic, but they did start to slow down which is why we came back in to it and dominated those last 15 minutes or so.

Felt to me like we were caught cold and a bit shell shocked by their approach so took us a while to even get going. That's not to say we haven't been poor with the ball and made bad decisions, but the opposition have had an impact on that for sure.

I think we've *tried* to keep it on floor more than usual today, just executed it very poorly imo

In other words they've done what we normally do, but better than we have done.

Perhaps any team can do what we do.

Doesn't make for a pleasing spectacle.

I’d be pleased with that if I were a Coventry fan.

Kind of. But as a spectacle I found that 45 minutes a million times better than the Boro or Wednesday games.

Coventry deserve credit, played well and deserve the lead, but equally our passing was atrocious. And that's when we attempted to play a pass, most of the time we didn't, we aimlessly hit it forward.

Our football has been bland but effective for months. Hard to say much more. Hardly a head turner.

We’ve knocked it about more today in the secomd half than at any time this season.

But let’s be honest BL loves it when we are losing or drawing.

That’s true but I would put that down in a large part to the amount of pressure they put us under

If you've got pretensions of being a top 6 side, you've got to cope with the pressure from the opposition better than we have today. We don't just look short of being a play-off side, we look really poor. Any managers watching this game, the Wednesday game and the Derby game, and they all will have, will now know how to play against us.

Today showed why we cannot play this way next season. He only has a plan A and even when he brings subs on he still wants to play Plan A even when it isn't working. Clubs will be more clued up against it.

Yep, it’s funny you should say this I was having same thoughts earlier but can you really see Bournemouth playing like Coventry did today? Or Brentford? I can’t

Not sure about BL but I think a lot of our ‘supporters’ weirdly enjoy it when we are losing.

No, totally different teams. I do think if we're in this division again next next season those teams that don't believe they can outplay us will combat us better than they have this season.

But then again, we never beat Coventry away, we don't beat sides managed by Mark Robins and we don't win so many away games in a row so it could be just that we were due a defeat.

Disappointing today, in a season that has been anything but. And I don't believe it was all Coventry's tactics today, I don't think we performed as well as we can do against such tactics.
