    are you excited now ?
    We are in the playoffs but MY GOD, I dread what is in store for us if we do get through.
    We are really quite pathetic and have been for a few weeks. My opinion.
    It is truly awful to watch and I challenge you to say otherwise.

    I completely disagree. We didn’t play too well today. Coventry played well. Well done to them. I’ve really enjoyed watching us this season - we’re combative and play on the front foot.

    I’m really excited for the play offs. We will make them. If you’re not too bothered then no worries, feel free to do summats else

    Yeah in the play offs 4 points clear with 4 games to play of course I’m excited. All teams have off days and we have had very few since Christmas so no need to panic too much.

    Coventry were excellent today and deservedly won. It happens.

    Why lay out challenges to fellow fans and then in a separate post challenge someone back by saying 'My opinion'? Slightly hypocritical.

    As for entertainment that was far better to watch than the excuse for an FA Cup Semi Final yesterday. We were poor with the ball today and had two or three players just not at it, but we completely dominated the ball for 70 minutes but met a Coventry team who executed the perfect game plan and defended incredibly well and like their lives depended on it.

    On another day a couple of those balls in to the box pay off with a goal or two and the conversation about the performance is a very different one. We weren't great but we were nowhere near as bad as some of the comments I'm reading.

    If this was a game we needed to get into the play offs I'd be more disappointed but we haven't lost much ground, it's still in our hands. Keep the faith!

    This has been coming. We do not know how to overcome these teams that outplay, outfight, out think us.

    I have to agree it's not great to watch and I understand your frustration. It's the first time in 40+ years I remember us playing this way. But bar one season the style has had us, in general, hanging around mid to lower tier 2. I'd much prefer to watch a winning attractive style but Val's not daft he knows this is what's needed with these players . There is a lot of theory in what he's done and I'm confident it will pay off . Let's just enjoy where we are it doesn't happen very often.

    Coventry didn't outplay us or outfight us though? I think they out thought us in areas. I also think they played above their level from an organisational perspective whilst we weren't at it. When that happens we won't win games of football.

    I agree, we just weren't at it today. I thought we'd have too much for them given that they played on Thursday. Disappointing, but I'm definitely not going over the top with my criticism. I look forward to us having a real go in the playoffs. If we are successful then brilliant. If we're not then it's been a very, very good season irrespective.

    Given how competitive we've been this season I'm surprised by the speed and ire of your post. No matter, you're entitled to your opinion.

    Too many players not playing to their usual high standards. It hap pens. Think this is a match where the crowd could have lifted them a bit, seemed very flat.
