We all have our off days. We all love BFC. We are all disappointed with today’s result. We are all ecstatic with the season so far and our team. Kudos to you pal for taking a step back from misjudging some comments. Now onward to the next match and three points.
No you aren't. And throwing around wild and baseless accusations of bullying actually harms people that are genuinely bullied. It's pathetic and childish.
I’m incredibly passionate about our club. I realise that some may have perceived me in a negative light as a result. I apologise to you personally Austiniho for picking up on your post. However, I maintain that the irony of what I was called out on two occasions was in the extreme.
For whatever reason, we seemed to play at walking pace today, and our attempts to get the ball down and play answered the question of why we don’t do it more often. Missed Kane today, Palmer had a poor game, got Halme wasn’t the answer, we needed someone that can control the ball there. If ever there was a game move Styles inside, it was today.
Any evidence of this? I'm happy to apologise if you can point me in the right direction. Bullying is wrong. But throwing toys out of the pram and flinging accusations around is also wrong.
We should shut down the matchday thread after the final whistle and avoid some of the lunacy on display here.
Yes. But, I’ll tell you what. If anyone looks back on my posts after the game today they will see the words of a passionate Barnsley fan that is trying to maintain positivity following a setback. Yes, my tone may have been too candid for some, but regardless, the words of a fan. Nothing else. I’ve been attacked for attempting to proactively protect and underpin the growth and progress of the club, from a fan’s perspective. Nothing more. I will back away as a result.
You haven't been attacked. People have just said that they're allowed to say we were pap today. That's it.
It sure is. Collect your toys, pop them back in your pram, and come back tomorrow for it is a new day. And if you can produce evidence of bullying then I would love to see it - then I will apologise. If you can't, them you've been truly out of order. Have a lovely evening.
And that's fine, really it is. But bear in mind that this is a "matchday thread". The clue is in the title. People are commenting on today's game. Not the season so far, not our excellent league position, not where we go from here. Just today. And be honest, it was poor today. It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but there's nothing wrong with people telling it like they see it. Those same people will be over the moon if we maintain our play-off spot, I guarantee it. They love the club too. I know this for a fact. They're just like you.
I’ve been bullied out of the BBS by you tonight. The BBS is becoming an increasingly narrow-minded place dominated by alpha-personas. You win, Fonzie. A passionate Barnsley fan gone from the BBS.
