Take a bit of a break for a couple of hours, then return, mate. Everyone on here has blown a fuse over the comments of another poster at some point. It's usually quickly forgotten.

@MPM Sorry, but I really don't think you were bullied in the matchday thread. Barring mentioning we played plenty of "tippy-tappy" football in the second half, all you did was make comments about other posters. Other posters who are as much fans of the club as you are. Almost to a man(can we still say that?), the comments were that we were off it today. Which we were. There were no knee-jerk reactions or anything like that, just fans disappointed by the performance of a team that has outdone themselves almost all season. The feeling was probably made worse by our record away at Coventry.

You still maintain you were "defending" the club. No one was attacking the club. They were saying it was a poor performance. The same way they would have said it was a great performance if we put 10 past them. It's not a conspiracy or a targeted attack. It's just an internet forum, ffs.

I get that you're a "passionate" supporter of the club. I mean, you have told us all enough times in the time that has elapsed since the final whistle. But so am I. So is Jay. So is Fonzie, I'd go as far as saying the vast, vast majority who post on here are. It doesn't mean that your opinion is any more valid than mine, or anyone else's.

But the "bullying" accusation really doesn't sit well with me. It isn't bullying to debate with you. Just stop the flounce. In the history of internet forums and BBS's, not a single person has ever come out of a "delete my account" flounce looking good. Just take a step back, take a deep breath and post next time you have something to say. I bet most people won't even remember your username and will just converse with you normally, because it's really not a big deal.

Now, come on Reds! On to the next one!

Which account did you have deleted without asking? Genuinely intrigued by that as new news to me

I’m working on the assumption that no accounts need deleting and we’re all happy to sleep on it and be best of friends tomorrow :)

Interesting though how certain claims/accusations caused such outrage. Maybe that will make people think before they do similar themselves in future

Bullying is a very emotive subject for lots of people, as it's a thing that lots and lots of people have experienced at some point in their lives. It's an accusation that get's thrown about to win arguments unfortunatly, which only goes to lessen the impact when an actual bullying claim is made, and that doesn't sit right with me...

I agree. Don’t dispute any of that. Just commenting that if you have that opinion then you should be super reluctant to throw even greater accusations at people knowing how damaging it could be.

    Not at all, mate.

Sometimes it can feel like you're being bullied, but it doesn't mean you are being bullied. I know that, and I've felt it(not on here). The difference is rather than throwing the accusation out there, I logged off and let tempers cool down. I then realized, with a clear head, that what I was experiencing was far from bullying. I honestly think, as a 3rd party reading the thread(I don't think I commented in it at all, actually) you overreacted and threw the accusation out there without any thought.

I've got no axe to grind with you, nor am I friends with any of the posters you clashed with. I'm just telling you what it looked like as a neutral observer...

He mentioned the other day that he was previously banned permanently under a different name. So I assume that’s what he’s referring to.

Seems a strange thing to admit to in a thread that is directed towards admin so there’s a very good chance they’ll read it, but there we go.

I was going to flounce off having had a bad day on the gee gees, Barnsley losing at Coventry and spending quite a bit of money on new cushions that the missis insisted we needed. Then I thought 3 things, don't expect to win all the time on the horses, still love my club remembering where they were when I started watching them in 72, and I love my missis to bits and if the aforementioned new cushions make her happy then it's a price worth paying. Oh, and I don't have the legs for flouncing ;)
