Sending Matty James back looks to be the worst decision of the season

What never fails to amaze me on the BBS, is the absolute certainty that folk post with.

For the record, I believe we'd have fared slightly better had we kept Jamo until the end of the season. He's a great player. But you have a budget to work within and we needed firepower. We also have a couple of young centre mids who needed game-time.

It's worked out okay I feel.

I'm not 100% we would have fared better. If he was sent back to free up the budget to bolster the attack, then who in the squad would have scored the goals Morris and Dike have? Woodrow is decent enough, but apart from him I could not see the Freezer, Chaplin or Victor scoring at the same rate as the two new recruits...

If we’d had DD and CM at the start we might have had two 20 goals men there and with CW chipping in with 15 we just might have been pushing for automatic

Can't over state the impact Morris and Deekay have made, certainly wouldn't be close to the playoffs without them.

Of course. Which is what I said. We have a budget to work within. Him leaving allowed room to manoeuvre, and gave valuable minutes to Romal and Herbie.

But if we ignored that, and we speak about him just as a player, of course we’d have fared better. We had Aapo in there yesterday, and as much as I rate him, it’s not as a midfielder.

That's what I think as well. Imagine having this squad plus Valerien Ismael at the start of the season. The mind boggles :)

This trend of digging up opinions from a previous life to gloat, rubbish, or mock the poster needs to stop.

I get my Matchday predictions wrong about 100% of the time. Only about 10% of fans thought letting Matty James go was a good idea. And about 0% of fans thought we’d even get a sniff of the playoffs.

The internet will be full of loads of us getting it wrong on a regular basis.

I didn't rate James when he was here this season. Not bad but didn't do anything what caught my eye.

James would have been a far better option in the midfield beside Mowatt than what we have had since January. The fact we played Halme from the start in the middle yesterday clearly indicates that. Halme is clearly not a midfielder but did his best. Palmer needs time to develop and Kane has underperformed, saying how much we spent on him. Going into the Playoffs I know who I would have preferred alongside Mowatt.

Matty James has been important to Coventry's survival. They've done well to use experienced loans.

But chances are by keeping James we wouldn’t be going in to the playoffs. Budgets are there for a reason and ours couldn’t afford James, Kitching, Morris and Dike.

I dread to think what was being posted about Ismael and the team prior to the red card in the QPR home game. Not least by myself.

That first 20 minutes was utter carnage.

If anyone digs up any of my inaccurate posts from the past (and there's been over 45000!), the only person to blame is me for posting the rubbish in the first place. :)

I hope I was right about us being this seasons Hull City. They've just been promoted ;)

I think you’d take it in the humour it was meant in, like I’m sure ST will. Let’s be honest we all chat rubbish on here but that’s what football fandom is all about.

If you go back to Cardiff away, Frieser playing right wing back, and a 3-0 tonking, I think you’ll find a few knives being sharpened!

I'd rather not. Yesterday can't have been that bad. Surely?
