    Is it 5 years? The only time I've been to Newcastle. It was a memorable experience, but the away fans enclosure was a bit remote.

    I was at that one. Talk about after the lord mayor's show. The Oxford players gave our lads a guard of honour reception then proceeded to thump us 5-1 if I remember correctly. Think they'd been on the lash all week. Happy days

    Didn't they score direct from a corner? Referring to how much they'd been on the lash, Dave Watson said something about when the corner came in he could see 3 balls, so he went for the middle one but that wasn't it.

    They did a beamback to Oakwell and we’d got tickets before we got promoted mid-week.

    Just did a quick Google search to look at the goals again and yes they did indeed score direct from a corner. The Reds look well hungover in the highlights clip, you've got to laugh,although I didn't at the time having traipsed all the way down to Oxford. Should have expected a performance like that though!

    I'd imagine he already knows exactly who he'd rather play in semi
    I just watched it as well. It's laughable. For their penalty, Watson looks like he makes no attempt to save it, just falls over on the spot

    I think there was a slim mathematical chance if we won by a shedload AND Luton lost, but it was clear to anyone who saw that game that the lads had been on the lash.

    They only finished 3 points ahead of us and they won there last game we lost to Bristol. They did have a better goal difference but sure we just had to better there result to win the title.
