too many of these greedy little gits in my garden.... Don't mind attracting birds into my garden though....
Careful with that, you'll get posh premiership fans using it as a meme about what "teams like Barnsley" think is an acceptable ground
I have pheasant nests in both front and back gardens, front garden has been sat on eggs for over 3 weeks so should be hatching any day, back garden about 10 days. It’s been a bugger keeping the dogs away from them!
We used to call eggs like that scribblers when wi were young uns. "Fone a five egger scribbler yistdi"
Had an absolute nature fest in the middle of nowhere in Pembrokeshire last week. Saw my first ever badger having a snuffle on the lawn on the first evening. 3 buzzards sat atop telegraph poles each evening and morning. Pheasants, rabbits, goldfinches, sand martins and even a barn owl. A short stroll to the river and saw cormorants, curlew, golden plover, redshanks and a shrike. And topped off with a brave little vole that ran across my feet. Incredible place and not bad to watch the sunset go down every night and then be met with pure beaming moonlight and the twinkling stars.
net time you're in that area head for the Red-Kite centres in Radnor/Brecon - these magnificent birds almost became extinct - now flourishing - well worth a visit.
