    Bournmouth losing, so we are currently 5th and on for getting Swansea now.

    So we may not be going to the game in person.

    I’m not too fussed if we win or lose, finish fifth or sixth, get Swansea or Brentford.

    Today was about momentum from performance. And to my eye they’ve been excellent, aside from conceding a poor goal. Whatever happens second half, today will be a decent day so long as there are no injuries or sendings off. We’ve clearly still got the ability to trouble the better sides.

    For a somewhat meaningless game, that first half was a very enjoyable watch. Chuffed to see both Cauley and Conor (our Andy Carroll! :D) on the score sheet.

    The two games against Swansea were played close together and not quite a true reflection of the performance of the current team - I actually think we’d give them a game based on current performance. Also, I know we’re a bit of a bogey team for Brentford, but if we finish 5th it means there’s no chance of a Brentford - Bournemouth final and that pleases me.

    I'd rather play Swansea over 2 legs as I don't think they offer as much goal threat as the other 2. And I'd prefer a one off against either of the other 2 where they can throw absolutely everything at it.
