Paul Warne knows his team is about to be relegated. However, he takes the time to greet the substitute appearance of cancer victim Sol Bamba in the last few minutes of yesterday's game. Nice one, Paul.
Class act is Paul Warne. Got a lot of time for the fella. Really wish they could have held on yesterday to relegate that basket case of a club, Derby.
There was about 30 seconds left when Sol was to come on. Ref was obviously aware of the situation and stopped a throw in being taken to let him come on. Respect.
Seems like a nice guy. Literally every Cardiff fan I know wanted to lose yesterday so that Derby went down with Wednesday.
Nice bloke is Paul. Hope rotherham fans realise what they have. He sounded 50/50 whether he'll carry on after yesterday.
I think he will. Refreshing honesty in his interviews and I reckon most of us would wonder what more we could have done in his situation.
Not much more he could’ve done. Some of the misses I’ve seen in highlights through the season have been unbelievable. Remember one with virtually the last kick at Huddersfield (think it was Crooks) that was harder to score than miss. That one alone would’ve kept them up. Not much more Paul Warne could’ve done really....
He is a reluctant boss and his players will/have run through brick walls for him . Can’t understand some of the Roth fans wanting him out although I do understand it’s very few . His team have done everything they have been asked to do this season except of course score enough goals . They can’t be blamed for lack of effort in the games Ive seen and midfield and defence have done a great job in defending and creating chances . It’s just a pity the finishing hadn’t been there but as I say it’s not for lack of effort he’s got the best out of those players this season imo and as a manager that’s all you can do .
Wow! Well said Mr BigLil. Never come across a thread before where I have posted a 'like' for every single post. I hope Warney finds the strength to stay with the Millers. People like him are all too rare in the game these days. I hope Rotherham realise what they've got there.
