But non season ticket holders will only get their chance IF there's any tickets left over from the season ticket ballot. Season ticket holders have their chance NOW to apply for tickets. If you're not lucky enough to get one in the ballot, it's because the tickets have gone to other season ticket holders. I'm not sure why you're getting on your high horse over non season ticket holders?
Funny thing is my very first post on this forum was back in 2008 when I introduced myself and mentioned that I was waiting for confirmation I'd got a Liverpool ticket (FA Cup). As a non ST holder at the time, little did I know the anger my post would cause amongst those ST holders who missed out and the subsequent abuse for Mr Rowing
Sorry to hear that. Well at least the last 13 years have brought about a change of people's attitudes and thought process........... Oh hang on a minute.
I'd be very surprised. IF there is a shortfall of applicants. They will open up it up for others. 1, 21/22 Only ST holders would be the next obvious choice in a ballot. But little or no time frame. If by noon today that figure hasn't been reached. Then emailing those extra 2k+ to go in a second draw may work. 2. Non season ticket holders would be a nightmare to administer. Given the timeframe. I genuinely believe the club would be happy if all those that have applied . Get tickets. Why put in another process. It would be, as I say. A nightmare. And would give em the most grief.
Hearing reports from non ST holders that they came downstairs this morning to find that “he’s Billy Beane!!!” and the Barnsley chop and afe pint of acorn that they’d carefully left on the mantelpiece HAD GONE and under the play off Oak? Well, they found 6 tickets labelled ‘non season ticket holders only’. Not saying this has happened but if it has I am DONE with this SHAMBLES of a club putting these NON SEASON TICKET HOLDERS first. Makes me SICK.
Easiest thing to do to guarantee you are in the ballot is to all now apply individually. If it says you can’t apply twice then you are already entered, if it doesn’t then you are now entered on your own. You may not get to sit with your preferred mate but that’s not the club’s fault that you couldn’t organise it between you. You’ll definitely all be in with a chance though. Second option: give all your mates who want to go a number between 1 and however many of them you are. Select some lead people and they apply for numbers 1-6, 7-12 etc.
I must have missed that thread, but as a season ticket holder who couldn't get a ticket to that game, can I blame you for everything that's gone wrong in my life in the past 13 years?
Look, it's bad enough making all us blokes look like muppets with your DIY skills and your multimeter. Now you're using logic and commonsense to single-handedly destroy chaos theory.
Arranged to go on holiday with SM and his mates. Ended up with 5 outbound flight tickets, 3 hotel rooms, a return flight to Poland and a didgeridoo.
