Does anyone know if exec members have been notified about success in the exec ballot?
I've had a seat in Club 64 for the last couple of seasons. Got an email saying that packages would be emailed out to those successful yesterday. I assume since I haven't got anything I haven't been and I did see a mention on Facebook that some exec holders had been notified but wasn't sure if that was the case. (It was someone complaining they had priority or something like that)
I have emailed asking for clarification and sent a previous email to the club that I didn't get a reply to but I've been having some problems with my emails going into people's spam recently ( no idea why).
Will call tomorrow if no one knows. (The suspense is killing me :D)

I might be being a bit daft but how can they have a seperate ballot for the rich folk?

Social distancing rules still apply. If there are 64 seats in two rows in club 64 and you have to space groups out two seats apart your left with about 18 seats at a guess. (Assuming the same rules apply here.) Not sure what they do about indoor seating behind glass but its reduced capacity same as outside.
On top of that, I don't think the exec tickets are managed by ticketmaster or at least not as far as the punters are concerned.

Yeah but then does that mean they prioritised the posh folk first? We are allowed roughly 4,500 fans, everyone is in one pot regardless of stand, length of ticket etc etc. It seems though that its everyone except the rich fans who are in a seperate one? Out of the 4500 how many have they decided must be the rich fans?

Just makes very little sense to me, if everyone is equal then everyone is equal. Not that it matters, I got my ticket

It’s good to see there’s parity in the the exec sector. Hope you get sorted, mate.

Doesnt it just mean that that the exec floor has a reduced capacity and the stadium has a reduced capacity and the total is the two added together? Why does it mean there's some sort of priority? The exec ballot is for the reduced number of tickets inside the exec suite. What am I missing?

It's one stadium isn't it? If you sit in the ponty end you aren't in the ponty end ballot, you're in the oakwell ballot. In the east upper? Nope it's the oakwell ballot. In the exec box? Yep you're in your own special rich folk ballot.

The way I see it, there’s 2 options with the executive seats. Either they have to be a separate ballot or they put ‘regular’ season ticket holders in the exec areas. There’s issues with both options really, isn’t there?

Makes more sense to me that the people who have the season tickets are put into a ballot for the remaining space in that area. Are you saying you'd have preferred to have been pulled out of the hat for a seat in the exec and paid the extra money? Not to mention those who've paid for a box all this season. Are they to get a seat outside? Seems like a bonkers suggestion to me.
(There's only season ticket holders in the ballot by the way. You cant buy yourself a ticket using an exec option if you don't have a season ticket or box.)

Given the nature of Club 64 and the requirement to observe social distancing I would’ve thought that your chances of getting a ticket in said section would be slimmer than those in the regular ballot. It’s a very peculiar argument; all the best in the ballot!

Based on this you’ve got an 18 in 64 chance of getting a seat if you’re an Exec Season Ticket holder. What’s that? Just over a 25% chance?

You’ve got, near enough, a 4,487 in 7,800 chance if you’re a regular season ticket holder. Something like 60%?

I know which ballet I’d rather be in if everyone applied.

Wonder if there’s many empty exec boxes for this season? Could put some of the Club 64 people in those maybe?

I thought they didn’t have time to have separate categories in the ballot or where you can sit . I understand that people in the 64 club paid more for their season ticket but so did Reserve+ members , we are either all in the same boat or not

That’s how I’d understood it too. Because of the makeup of the ‘behind the glass’ areas, there’ll be a lesser % occupancy, ergo there’s more chance of a Ponte End ST holder getting a seat than a Club 64 one.

But ST does like to find social injustice at every turn.

But that’s not the case is it , you can be a Ponty ticket holder but be allocated a North Stand ticket , it’s not category by which stand you have a ticket in . We all know it’s exception circumstances but it’s the same for everyone .

As stated above, isn’t any differentiation to the ultimate detriment of Club 64 ticket holders? I can’t understand the apparent uproar.

Just for clarification , if you are a 64 club member are you only in the Exec ballot and excluded from sitting anywhere else or will they all get a ticket somewhere
