    Don't blame the Israelis as much as the USA backing me them just for financial gain through oil reserves. The Israel Palestine crisis will never be resolved whilst outside influences stand to make trillions

    A 5 year old boy was killed today when a palestinian rocket hit his appartment.

    I'm not condoning or justifying anything, but people make out it's all one side.

    I haven’t got anywhere near enough knowledge on this to have an in informed view. I just wish people would stop killing people, and governments would stop supplying weapons.

    Yup. It’s not one sided. And often the Israeli action is a consequence of other’s wrong doing. Lives lost on both sides.

    Trump kept a lid on it - like with Korea, hence been relatively quiet for 2-3 years.

    I know its fashionable to pick on Israel, but there are no 'good guys ' out there.
    As far as I can see Hamas started this lot by firing rockets into residential areas then complained when Palestinian civilians were killed by retaliation.
    Given the history over there did they not see that coming?
    Irrespective of what its about or who is at fault for the conflict overall, its madness or maybe that should be badness that both sides keep doing these things!

    If your living space keeps getting encroached and you have inferior living standards at some point you're going to kick against it. It's all well and good saying both sides are as bad as each other but you can't ignore the social and economic realities.

    I don't attach blame predominantly to either side, they are both to blame. Actually no, they are not to blame at all. It's god.

    Both side have their religious fanatics who believe that they have a god-given rights that are being violated by the other side. The leadership, who may not be religious fanatics themselves, rely on the support of the fanatics and so stand with them. Religion has always been the root of trouble in the Middle East.
