I’m surprised more hasn’t been made over the delays to add India to the red list for international travel, coincidentally around the same time that Johnson was due to go there.

Suspect they’ll announce the surge vaccinations that Johnson had previously said wasn’t “top of the list” and government actually forced to shut down in Blackburn when they attempted it yesterday. Would’ve thought any changes to roadmap, local lockdowns etc would have to be announced to Parliament first, but wouldn’t put anything past them. Just another week in a timeline of corruption and ineptitude.

 

Given that this virus will continue to mutate and create variants forever i am very much looking forward to spending the rest of my life in a perpetual state of lockdown/having unreasonable restrictions placed on my everyday life.

 

They’re just announcing that they’ve got a ticket for Monday. Seems the in-thing to do recently.

Can you imagine the outcry if any other party in government did this routinely and how the media would portray them as not fit to govern.

 

I've never known any other PM be so routinely late for PMQs. He just doesn't want to do his job, its completely bizarre given how much effort he's put in to lie his way to it.

They refuse to put India on the red list at the same time as Bangladesh and Pakistan because "Trade Deals", then put India in the red list, except for those representing their government - cue India sending over a load of diplomats with Covid.

 

It genuinely amazes me. Same with Cumming's rose garden rubbish where he was about 45mins late when he was already in the ****. It'll be on purpose to put us in our place, it's a typical power move to keep people waiting just to prove that you can.

 

Monday night is safe, I'd say, but imagine, just for a brief moment, if they stopped crowds attending sporting events....

It would be small recompense for missing the game, but we would at least to get to see a genuine example of spontaneous human combustion

He's done the same thing twice now, first sat doing nothing while the virus came over from China last year, reacted too late. And didn't bother with stopping air travel while we were told to stay at home and now, shuts the door on India way too late. Useless bag of turds that man.

 

His actions are particularly ironic given that he ultimately gained power through berating the lack of control at borders.

 

Viruses mutate. Always have always will. It's now starting to absolutely take the piss that we refuse to accept that this is something that will be here forever and a decision needs to be made are we prisoners till we die or are we humans who sadly die at some point?

 

There should be no need to change any planned openings for this. Local public health directors have asked for three things; increased testing, financial support for isolation and increased vaccine supply. If they shut anything down it will be entirely a political decision
