Absolutely loving what NXT, NXT UK and AEW are putting out right now.

Looking forward to Kenny Omega vs Orange Cassidy vs PAC at AEW Double or Nothing!

Think Cassidy is only rivalled by Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly as the best wrestler in North America at the moment, also loving the work of The Way at the moment in NXT.

Quite happy to be called a nerd and weirdo in response to this.

The Wife loves it! I dip in and out but prefer AEW to the WWE stuff (although don’t mind NXT). That title match will be great! Would like to see PAC or Cassidy win but don’t think it’ll happen.

I think NXT is the best promotion in the world, don’t see it as WWE really, been a massive fan since I saw Steen (Owens) and Zayn have their feud!

I really hope Cassidy wins, I think he’s the best thing to happen to wrestling in years.

In terms of the independents, I really like Dalton Castle and the Local Hero Joe Hendry, I think Castle could be a top NXT or AEW guy!

Yeah I'm quite a wrestling nerd but older stuff. I like WWF from like 1989 until around late 2005, I know a lot of the early 90s stuff was awful but there's like a charm to some it at least haha. Also into WCW from the 90s and TNA from 2005-2007. Used to be into ROH also and whilst I find REALLY old NWA stuff harder to watch I find the history of the territories interesting to learn about and some of the Flair/Dusty promos are timeless. I should add I'm only in my 20s so it's not a nostalgia thing, the Attitude Era and WCW was really before my time but I love marathoning that era on the network.

I despise NXT and AEW with a passion, not a fan of the constant highspot/gymnastics. I might watch the next AEW PPV though just to cheer for Anthony Ogogo against Cody Rhodes haha. I do think MJF is great also.
I still watch occasionally and I usually catch the big WWE Pay-Per-Views but the feeling is not even close to when I watch older stuff. The fact that Raw is 3 hours is just painful.

For some reason, it doesn't appeal to me anymore. I did have the network for a while, but only watched old WWF/WCW/ECW stuff from 94-02ish. I listen to a podcast called WrestleMe as well, more because they talk a lot about the era in which I used to watch.

I do occasionally dip into the NXT UK stuff. There's a guy there named Saxon Huxley. I used to go to see a promotion called Rise, based in Leeds and he was a regular fixture. After the show, the performers often hang about after, taking down the ring, selling merch etc. I've spoken to him a few times and he seems such a humble honest bloke. He's put the graft in, in his career to get to where he is. He went over to Canada to be trained by Lance Storm and Brian Kendrick. But when I spoke to him, he couldn't believe his luck that he'd had the call from WWE. Really nice guy.

I keep up to date with it, but let’s face it, WWE has been poor for a long time! AEW tries too hard to emulate the attitude era days. WWE should never have gone PG.

I can't get the image of your uncle Bob slipping out of his leotard out of my head.

I lost interest at about the age of 12 when I realised it was all scripted nonsense. Faker than Jordan’s t!ts.

I hope I haven’t just spoiled it for you.

Choreographed 5hit, should be on the comedy channel. How anyone can take this seriously and call it a sport is beyond me.

Likewise, its the crowd that do it for me, grown adults spitting blood over something that's more choreographed than river dance, my kids used to love it though

Tbf their bank balance would suggest otherwise - they make more money now than at any stage in their history.

I've got the WWE Network - I tend to watch old Raws and Nitros then the PPV's during afternoons when there's nowt on TV and I've got a flyer from work.
