We over achieved this season and only fell short because we aimed so high.

We overachieved and I’m immensely proud of our team and our club. Who could have imagined such progression in just 12 months?

We didn’t deserve to go up, but we did deserve to make the play-offs and we gave it our very best shot and I couldn’t have asked more.

This is why I love Barnsley.

Just love this team and the hope they have given us during lockdown; I feel like I know them so well as they were the only strangers that visited my lounge every Wednesday/ Saturday and I am so grateful for that as they inspired and amazed me. Last Monday was the highlight of my year, made me feel alive for the first time in a king time. Reds, you are are awe inspiring!

Just goes to show how costly the chance that Brittain had at Oakwell when he should have gone high and the
Morris flick that hit the bar were. If they had gone in we would have won. Never mind. We weren't humiliated
and gave a good account of ourselves.

Be interesting to see who goes and who stays now. Having watched both games today, the way that Brentford
saw off the Cherries, leads me to be convinced that the Championship winners trophy will be adorned in red
and white ribbons come next weekend.
