Next season is Liam Kitching. The poor lad has had terrible luck with injuries this campaign. With a good preseason under his belt, I'd bet he'll be chomping at the bit to show everyone what he can do.

agreed. stiff competition at centre half though. guess it depends if either helik, Andersen or sibbick leave in the summer

Agreed. We like a decent centre back.

I can see Andersen being in demand. Kitching is his ready made replacement in my opinion. Or at least, that’s the idea.

Let’s hope he has a good pre season, stays injury free and comes into the season roaring. He definitely deserves it.

I think Sibbick has been showing signs of weakness recently and I was surprised that Solly wasn't in the starting eleven yesterday. Maybe he would have made a better fist of the challenge on Routledge, shepherding him over the line instead of engaging in a spot of wrestling as Helik did. I don't recall us ever being so well off for centre halves at the club before. Of course that could change this summer if buyers come sniffing around. If Helik has a good Euros tournament he could be the first on his way.

I have a gut feeling that next season will see Jasper Moon blossom to be one of the the best prospects to come out of the academy for many a year.

Thought sibbock was really good in the 1st leg and it would have been very harsh to drop him. It was helik in the 1st leg with the naive defending for ayews goal. Sibbock has been decent and held his own for me lately after I wrote him off last season.

I can see clubs coming for helik and maybe anderson I think sol minght leave with him only having a year left.

In the very, very little we've seen of him, he looks the part.

One or two passes out that found their man over 50 yards, impressive.

Sibbick played well in both legs of the play offs, really impressive improvement on the field in a 3 man defence. No sign of weakness,Sol will probably go back to Austria this summer.

I was thinking of the last few weeks rather than the two play off games. I’m not criticising the lad, just expressing an opinion that I think his form has dipped a bit.

Obviously the boss knows better than any of us though!

I think sibbick got the nod over sol in the play off games due to sols lack of pace and the high line we play. Sibbick coped very well with lowe.

Yeah, not short of options. Guessing we’ll need to shift one or two on, or send them out on loan. Can’t keep them all happy.

Agreed mate, but I'm just looking forward to seeing all the players live again after not being inside Oakwell for nearly 15 months
