I can't see it personally. Even if he did. I would be more at ease him going back to his boyhood club

Doubt it hes a leeds fan though isn't he played for them from been a young age that owner was there the same time as mowatt was, good championship player but don't think he's top flight quality.

His only shot at the prem was with us. He'll sign for a mid to top end champ team.

Don't get me wrong, he's been great and a true pro over the last couple of seasons, but he is no where near prem quality I'm afraid.

    Yup.

If we continue on this upward trajectory, then he’ll be signing for someone below us, but for more money.

I imagine it’s a situation he didn’t really expect. There was talk of big money offers from Forest a few months ago...... that’s a drop in quality tbf.

as much as i rate him, he's at the upper end of "the plans" age group if he resigns for us all well and good but his replacement is at the club and played 70+ championship (?) games for us ( young styles is 21) wingbacks williams/odour brittain/williams, chaplin/thomas. central styles/kane,christie davies, palmer and even ritzy, and to be honest i'd be looking for a good price for woodrow whether big dike stays or goes and getting a couple of young hungry developement strikers in

was talking to a Leeds fan, who said he used to go missing in the big games at Elland road and that's why they let him go, cant see them signing him, he not a Bielsa type of player

Why is It Alex is nowhere near premier league quality? I don’t know if he is or isn’t but somebody like Luke Ayling has shown that with application and good coaching players can progress and establish themselves in the top flight.

Good luck to Alex if he chooses to move on, he certainly owes us nothing and has, for three years, been a fantastic captain.

Leeds spent nearly £100m last close season, at least Alex would be cheap!

Alex will sign for one of the above clubs

As above, like the lad but I just don't think he's PL quality. Will go to a top half championship side, decent signing on fee and £15-£20k a week 3 year deal IMO.

He’ll end up at Cardiff on three times his current wages.

he'll probably follow a similar trend to most Barnsley players. called brilliant while he's with us, then leave, then called average

Hes good but in his position we need better and im hoping styles is gonna be the man to take that spot, i think styles would get us more goals and assists although mowatt as a better delivery frm the dead ball so maybe not as many assists but styles would drive us forward more. Kane as showed glimpses so maybe he could do the job after some game time, mowatt went on loan to oxford for his game time hopefully a full pre season will be enough for kane.weve options which is good. Be interesting to see where mowatt ends up, i went off him wen he said its up to the clubs ambition to weather he signs another contract or not.
