    I know what you mean. I think what people probably mean when they use the phrase, is that some teams eventually worked out how to nullify our main threats. I do think there was an initial sense of 'shock and awe' in what we did for the first half of the season. No one was expecting it - or expecting us to be as effective. I go back to Ged Wallace's interview with the 72 after we played Millwall, where he said he'd never come up against anything like it before. There were then probably a handful of teams who were willing and able to do what they needed to do, to stop us. It's a compliment to us that teams had to change their style to get something from games (then moan about us). I also think it's a bit of a shame that we couldn't/wouldn't adapt our own style when we needed to. We might be at Wembley on Saturday if we had.

    We can play football. I think had we played more football against Swansea they'd have been surprised by that as they'd changed their own style to negate our perceived threat.

    I would say the only teams to nullify us in the last few have been Rotherham at home and Coventry away although we weren’t at best but still you have to credit the opposition .
    Swansea didn’t nullify us we weren’t profligate with the chances we created and they were reduced to worldys to score, so not found out just not as clinical as we should have been .

    We created against Wednesday but once again our finishing wasn’t that .
    We created against Reading and once again had far more chances .
    Derby maybe but I wouldn’t say they found us out just spoiled the game and hoped .

    I think it was summed up by the fact that regardless of league position we never found any of our wins that easy always hard fought battles I genuinely think our players couldn’t get to grips with the spoiling tactics on show in the play off games. Perhaps this is where our lack of experience also came to the forefront too that we didn’t have anyone on the pitch to guide us through it as have we ever do rarely been through that experience at such a high level.

    I do think Val should have gone with our high press for the final game and mixed it up but all things considered we weren’t too far off all things considered so I’m probably talking bollacks as per usual.

    To me, it's simply a buzz phrase which means bugger all but is used by some folk trying to sound clever.
    For example:-
    Barnsley lost 2-1 at Gillingham in February 2016 in Paul Heckingbottom's second game. It was claimed he'd been 'found out'. But no one used the phrase after winning at Wembley that May! :D
    Barnsley drew 0-0 at home to AFC Wimbledon in August 2018. It was claimed Daniel Stendel had been 'found out'. Not only that, but the wily, old fox Keith Hill would teach us a footballing lesson the following Tuesday away at Rochdale. But no one used the phrase the following April, after we'd gone the entire season unbeaten at home for the first time since 1968 and clinched automatic promotion for the first time in 22 years! :D:D
