    I'd add, until lockdown non of our managers really gave our youngsters a chance in recent times. Struber did it when we were behind closed doors & it worked & VI has continued, as I'm sure his backroom staff flagged the likes of Styles, Palmer, etc, on top of him watching match videos. Bringing Sibbick back was a total work of genius by VI.

    Regarding up front. I think Aitchison could be a surprise package. I’m not so sure how he’s fixed regarding his fitness. But 5 games out on loan, is not what I think Barnsley were hoping for. His record at Forest green suggest he may have something. He’s now 21. And I’m expecting him to make the squad. Be good to see him in the friendlies. Otherwise I reckon another year out on loan. He’s spent all his time in a hotel . So it’s difficult to see he’d want that again.

    I asked my nephew, who is the head of sports science at Celtic (for the next few weeks before his new job in the Bundesliga) about Jack Aitcheson. He said he was a good lad, very mature for a youngster and a decent player. We should give him a chance in the U23s and have a good look at him.

    Thanks for that.( I did use wiki.) What I've noticed with yours btw. Is strangely. only one game at centre forward. The vast majority in midfield.

    Aye - I noticed that as well but I think that could relate to the player availability and Stevenage's preference for 4-4-2. It'll be interesting to see where he fits in on his return but I'd like to see him given a chance in the front 3.
