yes it's a great day out.I last went on a bank holiday and had superb time. But then again Lincoln is a great place for a day out too...and closer for Tarn fans.
Sorry. I would not know. Never been to Lincoln. I just assumed Blackpool with its holiday reputation might have been the better weekend. Had many holidays there when I was younger.
Last time I was in Blackpool, there was so much water in the beer, I didn’t get pist, I got the bends!
Trust me Ian, Lincoln is far lovelier than that amusement arcade filled hellhole that is Blackpool. No contest in my opinion.
I genuinely don’t mind. (As opposed to don’t care) I will happily watch the game as a complete neutral and hopefully just enjoy a stress free afternoon
Lincoln for me. It's only 15 mins down the road plus I've got some City supporting friends to suck up to for tickets ! I used to frame the club's shirts so I could have cadged tickets, but sadly no longer.
Hope Blackpool win. That said one of their lads just spat during the national anthem. Spitting is a disgusting habit and was so even before a pandemic. Doing it during God Save The Queen made it worse.
Booing was quite loud pre game during the taking of the knee. A sign of things to come if it continues next season I reckon. Be interesting to see if clubs deal with the culprits as they should be easy to track down.
