    Thankfully not the kind of player we will be interested in. Waning goal scoring ( less than Dike in twice as many matches).

    This seems a fair assessment. In an ideal world we can attract a better chaser who can chip in with a few more goals. Jacob Brown would have probably flourished in the role. Not score loads but a few more than Chaplin or Frieser but added some creativity.

    Recruiting forwards within our budget must be very difficult but we have done well in this area recently so No reason we can’t again.

    8 goals in his 21 Championship games last season. A guy with recent form of almost a goal every other game he's played within the same season will not struggle to find another club at this level. Class act.

    Adeboyejo 2 in 38. Schmidt 2 in 21. Miller 0 in 6. Chaplin 4 in 39 including 2 in his last 28. So we've four strikers with 8 goals from all the 104 games they were involved in last season.

    Work rate isn't everything. If it was Winnall wouldn't have been a regular starter for us.

    For the record I’m not suggesting we should sign Charlie Austin, because I don’t. I’m suggesting the strikers we have don’t score enough goals
