Apparently to be announced next week and Big Val is down to the final three... https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2021/06/...between-three-managers-appointment-close/?amp I suspect they will go for the only option that will not cost them compensation.
If its true i can,t see val getting the job ahead of Dyche or nuno as they both have prem experience whereas val is still something of an unknown quantity to most...
I think it'll be Ismael, and 14/1 with the bookies is too long. It's a worse job than it looks - ageing squad in need of an overhaul. Nuno will have more attractive options and I can't see it being a job which tempts Dyche. I think it would be a bad job for Val to take, but at the same time does he have to take it while his stock is high? If we start next season poorly then he won't be getting approaches from PL clubs...
Out of the three, the most likely is Ismael. I'd be very surprised to see Dyche leave Burnley, but strange things happen time to time. Nuno would be my choice out of the 3, but i wouldn't be surprised to see him go to Everton if he chooses to stay in the UK.
Agree that of those three Val is the most likely. Everton's vacancy probably sees off Nuno (for whom Palace would be a downward step) and for Dyche seems a side-ways move. Reds boss most likely. Rumour from The Athletic so a bit stronger than a random tweeter.
