Honestly, I couldn’t give a flying **** what anybody thinks. I know what’s what & Know how to conduct my life, for whatever it’s worth.
Then we get to the real. Actual life.
I got a message 15 months ago.’ Paulie, can you take this old dog?’
Had lost his previous human, early virus.
I’d buried 2 in the last year & weren’t bothered about another.
Then said **** it, bring him to me.. most gentle, beautiful old boy. I’m going to lose him soon, I know. No regrets, Alf, we’re good pals.. :)

We lost Archie (German Shepherd) family dog a couple of weeks ago. He had a stroke. He lived with my parents. The hole he left behind was so big they went out and bought Alfie (German Shepherd).

    What a lovely looking dog.
Hopefully won't be too bad when he goes, because you will have done the right thing by him making what time he has left happy and fulfilling!

    Well done Mr C.
We lost this fine fellow in 2018 aged 13. Didn't intend to have another.

What a lovely lad. Great you could give him a home. No doubt he's given you a lot back in return. I lost my dog over 4 years, ago, Fuzzy a Jack Russell, who was also a rescue. Was one of the hardest things I've had to deal with. I now borrow three dogs from someone 3 days a week for walks, a cavapoo, a cockerpoo & a border terrier. Occasionally I house sit them & have taken them on holiday a couple of times too.

Then we got these two ladies. Both rescue dogs who've had tough beginnings.
Alf's lucky to find good people like yourself.

It was diluted for me because I've lived with Laura in Rotherham for four years. I just felt numb. It will have been harder for my parents because since me, Sarah and Emma moved out it was just them and Archie.

Well done chief, sounds like a lovely dog. If I was a pet I'd like to think no matter where I lived and how old I was I'd get looked after. Sounds like the little fellas fell on his 4 tiny paws.
