The Turkey fans are much louder than the Italy fans.

I've backed a draw at half time, and Italy to win at full time.

Turkey have never beaten Italy, and have lost their first game in their last 4 Euro campaigns. In each of those, they've been level at half time. I actually fancy Turkey as a bit of a dark horse. They come into the tournament with just 2 defeats in their last 20 games (both defeats came against Hungary oddly enough), with a solid victory over the Netherlands, and draws with Germany, Croatia and France as the highlights. Their main goal threat however, comes in the form of ageing striker Buruk Yilmaz, who despite having a solid season in France, will be a little isolated in this one.

So I expect it to be a tight game. However, Italy's form is much more impressive. It's almost 3 years since they last lost a game. And although, the majority of their 22 victories in that time frame have come against 'lesser' opposition, you can only beat what's in front of you.

So that's my long winded analysis of why I've bet a fiver in the hope of winning £18.50

Same here, imagine if they could somehow win the entire thing.

Because its being played in Rome. I suspect 75% of Italians have had their tickets cancelled so why let fans in from another country given the pandemic. We've had our England tickets cancelled. I'd be a bit miffed if they were going to Croatian fans.

Won't the Turkish fans have bought them at the same time? So presumably the same proportion from each side would be cancelled?

Can you imagine a Barnsley player winning a major tournament. Would be just incredible. Not beyond the realms of possibility!

My thought is that there's a pandemic going off so cancel travelling fans tickets first. There were no Swansea fans at Oakwell and vice versa. There seems to be more Turkish fans in the crowd than Italians which can't be right.

Wait until next Friday. There might be more Scots at Wembley than English fans

I'd imagine there's a heck of a lot of Turks working and living in Italy.

    Probably the only advantage.
Anyway this Italian team. Best display since Roberto Baggio’s days
