Their studio isn't that bad really.

Here is sky news studio, pretty much a glass box.

    Very true.

Glass box slightly above portakabin probably though!

Not sure where you get portakabin from. They are based in studios down in London, Paddington area.

Probably because because looks like a portakabin.

The backdrop to Neil's 'welcome' last night was proper low rent stuff.

Well obviously, look at all the people on here who will never in their life watch it again but checked it out as it’s new. You really need to start applying critical thinking skills to the things you read. You seem to always take everything at face value and never question why.

Actually no. He's not produced any misleading stats at all, he's used it's ofcom broadcasting licence catageories which are
"Content: News, Type of Service: Editorial". Funnily enough the two channels db3k mentioned alongside it are also both content news, type of service editorial (though the BBC licence comes under a broader BBC specific licence).

Others, including myself, may believe it shouldn't be considered news when it has so much opinion piece stuff on it but the fact remains that it's licence is for a news channel and as such it will be compared to news channels in the ratings.

And next at the covid briefing... a question from Tom Harwood of GB News. Sweet jesus, they've outdone themselves!

I've not watched it so can't comment on the cosmetics, but I would imagine if they had the sky revenue or the bbc licence payers money then they could afford to haemorrhage the money on much better fixtures and fittings

Do we officially know who is actually funding this new "news" set up?

Don't suppose you have a specific article link to save me having a random search? No worries if not.

Just checked in. Latest GB News....7 of the 9 stories are anti-lockdown, 1 is anti-knee, 1 is 'no country had more impact on the modern world than the UK'. Absolutely within their right to do what they're doing, but it already seems very obvious this is a propaganda machine for the stakeholders.

They'll be running opinion pieces which go right up to line of decency so not to be banned like Fox.

Disappointed to see Kirsty Gallacher has joined them.

I watched for a bit last night, tuned in during the Woke Watch segment. It was embarrassing. Just a platform for an old man to yell at clouds.

I also took note of the companies which were advertising on there, suffice to say I now have a new list of businesses to avoid.

If you can share them without the rest of us having to watch, i'll nominate you for an MBE (if I could)!
