Had a trip to Leeds the other day, found a place in the city centre called simply 'The Chilli Shop'. Bought some Carolina reapers, ghost chillies, scorpion chillies and chucked them in a curry last night. I am suffering.
my dad is obsessed with spicy food. Has this one particular hot sauce that he loves and buys in bulk from amazon. He has it on almost everything, even seen him have hot sauce on his Sunday roast along with gravy.......
I love hot food, over the last few months I have been trying all sorts of different hot sauces and snacks. Really like the Carolina reaper scratchings and peanuts. But I also got a tub of Carolina reaper chillies. Wow the burn lasted about 20 mins and yes it was bad but that wasn’t the worst part. The worst part came about 2 n half hours later with the stomach pains that are that bad you actually think it’s ya last day, the sweating and shivering then having a pisss which felt like some sort of STD. Other than all that not bad.
Did a hot wings challenge with work colleagues in a burger place in Uxbridge. Just a small portion each. They made us sign health disclaimers and issued rubber gloves. One workmate said this is ******, it's just hype, how hot can you make chicken wings? 20 mins later he was throwing up and his lips had swollen massively. We all had to go straight home in chronic pain. I was in agony all night. My boss had to call an ambulance and had to have several subsequent checks at the hospital. God knows what they put in it but it was insane. If you ever see one of these challenges DO NOT DO IT!!!!
domr ( my daughter, aka, drain on my resources) gets me the flakes off tinterweb and i blitz them ( wearing a mask) with garlic powder, star anise and ginger, then add as required to coconut milk as a base
Last time I used fresh chillies in food I made the mistake of not washing mi hands before having a wazz it brought a tear or 2 to mi eye
Yes. I grow super hot chillies in the greenhouse, with varying success depending on the weather. Carolina Reapers, Trinidad Scoropins, Moruga Scorpions, Peach ghost Scorpions and this year, 7 Pot Douglahs' Just made some sauce with some Morugas that I froze last year. Its Lethal
Dunno if its in UK yet , but if the Mala Xiang Guo has made from China , its sort of a hotpot , that can be crazy spicy. Gives you a good sweat whilst eating it. Did the level 30 Chicken Wings here in Singapore also, they were quite savage , had to sign the disclaimer to eat.
http://www.redironburgers.co.uk/ UB8 1LQ. I recommend the burgers. Unfortunately for you they have taken the hot wings off the menu. I think my boss got Environmental Health involved.
