I believe it is crucial we get a striker with Kieffer/Dike qualities...
Classic targetman but with a bit of pace and a lot of stamina.

Between Kieffer and Dike we lacked that sort of player badly and I dont see Morris or Cole in that mould.

Also I'd like a Roy Keane type in midfield.

Halme does a job as a CDM but someone who can do that same job and drive forward would be perfect.

P.s this is putting any possible departures aside

Sounds like you have nailed it ,hopefully no major exits but I think Mowett would have extended by now if he was staying

Agree with you but I'd also add in a LWB too.....

Learn Brittan to shoot and cross
Sign players with a better end product
A midfielder who can take set pieces and find our players more than about 1 in 5 times
As good as we were last season we could have been a hell of a lot better

Morris has more pace than dike or moore

    Two ways:
    • Sign better players
    • Develop the current players
I'd like to think we'll do a mixture of both.

It's teach Brittain, but I think you mean coach anyway.

We also went from 1 minute away from relegation to L1, to the Championship playoffs. All that in less than 10 months. I'd say that was a hell of a lot better

    Better players = more money
Development = I think we've got an excellent record in recent seasons for that already

I'd hope emphasis of coaching in the pre season is more on what we do when in possession of the ball, attacking movement and grooving the attacking play to be more of a unit.

I think you are being very harsh ,simply because the progress we made last season was far greater than anything any of us expected, the trick is now to build on its .

In my humble opinion Morris was our best forward since he arrived (and not fully fit).
Mowatt, palmer, kane, moon, should do well.
Roy Keane would be suspended half the season and I can't imagine him being very supportive of young developing lads making a few mistakes.

The question was how can we improve the squad not have they improved from last season. Ffs. Whatever the correct way to say it Brittain can’t shoot or cross and needs to improve. We didn’t convert enough chances so need players with better end product. Mowett had a good season but got fed up of seeing him kick the ball dead or miss every player from free kicks

but it’s ok we went from almost relegated to almost promoted. So let’s forget about the above, pretend we dont need to improve and keep happy clapping

I think Callum Brittain is amazing.

Its not his job to score goals per se but he can certainly whip a ball in

Agree with you, two of the best assists this season have come from Brittain. His first time volleyed cross to put a goal on a plate for Dike against Boro and the whipped low cross that did similar at Wycombe.
