https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/new...er-riding-train-without-face-covering-3277019 Shaming the good name of Yorkshire. Luckily his accent is posh North Yorkshire so I wont get mistaken when I am on the street!!
Play stupid games ... win stupid prizes. Though to be fair, a fine and pack him off home does seem more proportionate.
Nah let them keep him! Seriously though, why on earth would he see everyone else in a mask and think he didn't need to wear one whatever his personal views on their effectiveness? Even in this country he should be wearing one on public transport unless exempt ( which he isnt) so its not that foreign a concept ! Struggling to find a single shred of sympathy on this one tbh.
I don't believe in private ownership of property so it's especially annoying that I've been arrested for burglary. The thought processes of these idiots are staggering.
Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. He decides to flout the law in what is widely known as a very strict country when it comes to laws and obeying them. I am just surprised it didn’t happen sooner since he admits to not wearing a mask all the time.
Reminds me of Starzi Germany. Secretly filming someone being naughty. Was it a undercover agent or an awful busy body?
Or someone that wants to prevent the spread of COVID. We do the same here, Facebook is full of photos of people seen near burglaries asking people to identify them for eg.
Seems a bit harsh that he’s lost his job and will do time just for being a knob. But I have zero sympathy - he openly admits being a knob.
Pity we aren’t more like them, say what you like but the kind of loutish behaviour we have to put up with in this country is simply not tolerated in the Far East. When I was in Shanghai there was no litter, no graffiti, no drunken yobs, no goonish twattery, never felt anything but 100% safe say or night, my daughters never got hassled and we’re completely safe walking home from clubs at night, etc.
He's lived and worked there for 4 years. Surely he should have picked up that they're hot on law and order as a country!? He's not doing time for being a knob but for breaking the law. He's lost his job presumably because he can't make the start date. However, it does seem wrong that it will take 12 months till the trial.
They always seem to be very strict on foreigners too, which I always presume is to send a message to anyone wishing to visit. Right so in my opinion.
Basically "I shouldn't have to obey local laws because I know better." Good luck explaining that to a Singaporean judge
