    They have only requested permission to talk to him, does not mean that it will be approved or that Val wants to go there. Until anything is decided then it’s pointless second guessing. If Val does go, then I trust the board to appoint someone equally as good and I expect they will be unknown.

    It's a bit like the Spurs situation at WBA, to me it looks like new coaches are wanting money to be spent on a rebuild and they've probably been told there isn't any. A make do and mend strategy or sell and make do.
