We appoint Helik captain, sign a new midfielder, get a new CEO highly regarded by our owners and pick a new gaffer. It's sad that players and coaching staff leave but it's football. Like I've said previously, we have money to spend on wages and aren't a financial headache. We continue being battling Barnsley. Hate modern football love the club.
Still got a great group of remaining players, still got most of the coaching staff, still got our scouting system, still got the ability to find a managerial gem in the Liectensteiner 4th division North East. Still got the fans
Agree, I don’t think there would be as little disruption as some appear to suggest. Losing our CEO and Head Coach at this moment in time as we seek to prepare for the new season would be a major blow to us. Players that were targeted and seriously considering moving here might just look at other options. A new Head coach would obviously need settling-in time to assess the players already already here. Sorry this is not just about losing a couple of players and moving on, it’s much more and I believe it would be the worse window ever
We should have a contractual agreement for a CEO to work x length of notice as is common in executive contracts. Just like anyone we approach is likely to have such clauses too. That allows us a period to find someone and not have operations unduly hampered. Obviously, our owners may waive the contract, especially if money is wafted and Conway fancies the most successful transfer window MKII.
