Not saying he won`t go but presumably at the moment we are currently only at the same stage as all the other managers/coaches who have spoken to them but ultimately turned them down.

Fortean Times has a photo of Big Val stood next to a yeti. They're both wearing WBA scarves. Looks like a done deal to me.

It's got to be Joey Barton
    Only joking.
JFH at Burton Albion or Darren Moore but most likely a coach from one of our sister teams.

Michael Duff at Cheltenham done a cracking job. Reckon he'll be in the betting. Plays with wing backs and a back 3 I believe.

If he manages to lose to Scotland he'll be pretty much unemployable...

The big imponderable here is whether or not Ismael wants the Baggies job. Yes, he has a £2 million release clause - reportedly. Yes, the Baggies are talking to him - again reportedly, but both probably with an element of truth. BUT, at the end of it all, does he want the job, or would he rather stick here for at least one further season to bolster the CV even more and then look at the possibilities. He has a reputation for not staying anywhere that long, but I think that he will be considering the balance between one further season here and taking the Baggies cash now. What will motivate him most of all - the achievement with us in the coming season, or the cash at WBA? We'll see. 50:50 I would think. He'll stay ..... is my uninformed guess.

I'll be very surprised if he stays. I wouldn't in such a volatile industry.

If we were to keep much of the squad together and we finished bottom half, he'll be deemed a one season wonder and his stock will plummet. If we're in the top half in October as the first sackings start, he'll be considered for jobs then. But I can't see him seeing a full season through. I'd expect him to move now, if not, be a candidate in October. Of the two scenarios, I'd rather he went now than drag it out for a few months.

Not really any point hoping because it’ll be someone we never expect

Does that mean we have to accept there’s truth to every rumour? Not just in this case but generally

If the owners want us to continue to adopt the same tactics, it would seem sensible to me to let Adam Murray take over. He knows the system inside out and probably has an excellent relationship with the players.

I really hope he stays,he's been a breath of fresh air since he came in.Like Struber before him he had the players onside with his tactics and beliefs and thats half the battle. If he does go it will be with my admiration and best wishes for what he achieved in his time here.

They'll use the compo to buy someone out of their contract. Someone we've never heard of no doubt, but hey, apart from Morais, I trust their judgement

You think Murray can motivate the players like val did? I don't I think we will look for another European head coach.

I have no idea whether Murray would be able to motivate them like Ismael. I just think the transition would be smoother, if the object is to continue to play in the same way. Like you, though, I think another foreign coach is a more likely appointment, in the event that Ismael does leave.

Whatever happens we will stick to the plan, young hungry players and if required another Manager with something to prove high press off we go again.
