If he does go I blame the fans.
Only 4K bothered to turn up for one game to welcome him.
Tis rumoured Darren Moore is ready to throw his hat in the ring if Val goes. He wants to manage at a bigger club

I wouldn’t be surprised if the club appoint from within if Val goes. (Murray) The coaches are now indoctrinated into the style and would know what the owners want.

Murray has been here a while now knowing our style and never got the full time job so why would he now? I can’t see that. If Ismael does leave, it’ll be the same rinse and repeat of an unknown high press manager in my opinion.

    Let’s hope Val stays though.

Not sure Murray would be the answer. it's was not his plan, and you need to have complete faith in the system like Val did. Also a proven track record of implementing and improving on it would be advantageous.

I'm not sure either that Murray would be the answer. I just think that he might be. It's impossible to know in advance whether any particular coach would be successful.

    Stability.
The new manager would have to fit in with the owners plans. As far as I’m aware. Murray has never been in the running for the job full time. I get the impression he’s popular among the players. ( just a feeling. I may be well off the mark)
I too hope Val stays. And believe he was a Choice of the board prior to Strubers departure. So Murray wasn’t even in with at shout. Might be time for him to step up. Having gained more experience.

Due to Brexit ie work permits,on
V Ismael's departure does it mean we can't look to Europe again?( including DStendel- not though i think the board would even consider him) . If so who would be a suitable candidate? Not Mick Mc Carthy or Hecky as their time has long passed. ...

If you can’t read his tweet Nixon saying we’re looking at a candidate in Germany as Val’s replacement.

I’d break the bank for Wilder, but I’m guessing he won’t even be on our shortlist

    He’s heard we’re looking in Germany ?
Tbf it’s hardly investigative journalism being as our last three managers have come from there or thereabouts.

I overheard in a pub that "there's a MASSIVE surprise new manager/Coach waiting in the wings in that David Icke wants to get back into the game", and "wants to be involved with an earthy club like Barnsley!". It'd be a real Revelation if that happened.

Either Mike Flynn, or Gareth Ainsworth, if we are going British.

I don't think we will, though.

Why do people keep mentioning chris wilder?
    1 we can't afford him
2 he will be after a bigger job and wouldn't come anyway.
