    According to Alan Nixon Stoke are set to sign Gillingham keeper Jack Bonham on a free transfer as a seasoned shot stopper to cover and compete with Josef Bursik next term.

    Where does that leave Davies? Another season struggling to even make the bench. He could always become a full time DJ.

    He's had games this season (also been injured) and the Stoke fans seem quite positive about him. Jump up from league 1 so I'm not sure Bonham will push him down the order.

    He started out as Stoke’s #1 this season, but suffered that (knee?) injury which ruined his season.

    I’d imagine he’ll be #1 again next season if fit.

    Personally I would prefer Davies to Collins , I think with the experience of Davies & the potential of Walton we would be fine , Collins doesn"t do it for me

    I don’t think Davies is bad by any means, but Brad’s made for how we play. I would say both Adam and Jack are better shot stoppers, but neither have the mindset / bravery to play as a sweeper.

    If we have a new Head coach I am not sure that a sweeper/goalkeeper may be required, I just think that Walton is the better of the two & I like Davies especially as he brings experience to the squad .
