    Why is Woodrow"s stock not in the ascendancy , he is now a proven Championship striker who has top scored for his club for two seasons on the trot & why on earth with all this disruption going off at the club ,why would we want to sell our star striker who we would then have to replace without a manager in place , it does not make sense , we do not want another fire sale , we have had enough of those in the past.

    He’ll be hot on the heels of Big Val, possibly along with one or two others I reckon. Just get it over and done with ASAP, then we can hopefully try & move on.

    We probably need to sell at least one star asset, and in my fantasyland, we’re getting Dike on loan and keeping Mowatt.
    It looks like Helik isn’t going to make the ‘team of the Euros’ so our best chance of a decent payday is Woodrow.
    I’m a big fan, but I reckon there’s no way we’ll get offered more for him next season than this, and that’s not true of many of our players, who are mostly younger and coming into their stride.

    You are probably right but then you have to pay out for a replacement of the same or better quality & strikers cost the most , I actually think on the basis that Brown was our sale last summer that the £2 million alleged fee for Val would hopefully save us from selling one of our better players , we will see

    Surely there comes a time when the club show some balls and tell Mowatt to sign or ship out. Surely needs to be done before pre season starts.
