    In an ideal world I'd have Stendel back. Realistically, I don't think it'll be a British manager. Probably another relatively unknown from Europe. Seems to work more often than not to be fair...

    I loved DS, but I'm not sure his style would be combative enough in the Championship. Who knows? I've as much idea who the next Pope will be TBH.

    I'm an expert in over thinking things, negativity & bouts of depression.

    For once I'm not feeling any of those. I think we'll be hard pressed to make the playoffs again next season, but in October last year we would have been stunned this conversation was even happening. (Me included, as I'm not always a happy clapper).

    Would do the young players confidence alot of good i don't think. Good player in his day but I don't think a very nice person.

    It was a little tongue in cheek but out of all the candidates on Oddschecker, he's the closest to a Val kind of character. Maybe because I find him píss funny I would warm to him more than others.

    Sunderland fans love him but for me he didn't really pull up any trees as a manager and I think he'd be too inflexible to work well with youngsters.
