    Don’t know if this has been asked or discussed - but did we make a counter offer to WBA to try and keep big Val or have we got a permanent up to date list of replacements where we opt for the cash pay out an move on with out a fight ?

    Counter point: who cares? If we did try to improve his contract it still would have been nothing compared to what WBA have offered him.

    Nail on head, we have made 1.8 million euros on struber and 2 million quid on val in space of 18 months kerching.... don't worry the val ones going on the squad.
