High expectations at WBA and fans and a board with no patience. Anything less than promotion is a big failure. I wouldn't count on seeing him last match of the season.
He was a brilliant coach for us, for 9 months. Then jumped ship at the first chance, probably taking our captain with him, maybe more. I hope it turns out to be a disastrous move.
I have friends who support the baggies and they say that the current squad would not fit his style of play and their would need to be new younger players brought in. They are also not fans of "kick and Rush" football. They do not expect a return to the premiership for next season.
So he'll get the sack on Dec 18th when we beat them at Oakwell and we enter the playoffs and they drop to 12th........... or he lasts the season and we beat them at their place to edge them out of the playoffs and we nip in on the last day.
3.5 seasons: Automatic promotion, 2 seasons in Prem, mid table in champ by Christmas: sacked/mutual consent. Feel free to bump in 3.5 years
