    The change from Hartberg's coach Markus Schopp to the English second division club FC Barnsely is taking on more and more concrete forms. As the “Krone” reports, Schopp will travel to England for negotiations on Monday.




    Schopp wants to get an idea on site in Barnsley and then decide about his future. “He should have a look, he'll be back on Tuesday. Then we'll see, ”said Hartberg's sports director Erich Korherr.

    Korherr has not yet contacted any possible successor candidates: "That would not be fair to Markus."

    Just sounds like their director is playing down the move, I reckon he'll be announced before Thursday. Too much smoke puthering from this particular fire for it not to happen.

    I interpret that as it is virtually done. Can’t see him coming to view oakwell and all our facilities and thinking no I’ll return to Hartbergs non league ground.

    He’ll meet everyone, have a tour, view the flat they put him in and have a chat with the board about the clubs strategy, Budget and long term plans. Sign the papers and have a picture on the pitch with a scarf and return home to pack for the season.

    Correction: Racist, bigot moron. Maybe we should try and entice Zidane. We could ask him to state he's fleeing Spain and France due to persecution and arrive here on a dinghy. He was only in charge of Real for 1 season so he wouldn't qualify under Brexit rules.

    Surprised by this from the YP. Why speculate on if he qualifies or satisfies the new Brexit rules when it should be easy to figure out? The YP keeps quoting the 'Top Leagues' line as if it's clouded in mystery.

    Depends on whether he wants to move to a job in the English leagues, and what other offers he has if he does.

    Our transfer policy didn't put Struber or Ismael off from joining, and it was hardly a secret.

    He might put quality if life at the top of the list and prefer to stay in Austria. A half hearted move to Barnsley is the worst outcome for all parties. Pity it's not sunny today. Grey Monday morning not the best look.

    Individual cases can be appealed though, you would have thought if they are pushing on with it they are confident.
    That said apparently no appeal yet has been successful.

    I could be wrong but I’m sure I read somewhere that to date no one has tried to appeal it yet, so it’s very much uncharted waters
