    I’m okay with the 5 at the back to counter Germany’s wing backs. I would’ve had Foden or Grealish in there though.

    At least we have a lot of attacking threat to come on, should we need it.

    Too many players still dining out on one good result against the Dutch & a Gazza wonder goal. What about the perfectly good Spanish goal, that should have knocked us out?
    I try not to be cynical, but it only highlights even greater failure in between..

    Spineless manager. Goes with a a safe and defensive formation and leaves heaps of talent on the bench; AGAIN! I'm underwhelmed.

    Also, very disappointed at a 09:00 PST kickoff. If we were the second game of the day, I could be watching over a few lunchtime IPAs.

    He was pulling the shirt so had to have a yellow.

    Worst Germany side in my lifetime. Infact if Henry the 8th was still alive he would be saying it's the worst in his too. A few of their star players underperformed at club level and we have huge home advantage and yet to conceed. We will have no better chance to beat them in a major tournament than today.

    8 players including gk who are more interested in defending doesn't excite me alot of pressure on the other 3 to produce.
