    Rule 1: Outside the UK.

Rule 2: No 100% political reasons for moving. Go on culture, climate, scenery, hospitality, past experiences, interests you have etc

I'm going with Finland. Love the culture, love the language, love the scenery. Some of the best hard rock as well.

Ireland for me. I've travelled a fair bit and been to some fantastic places but I'm so glad I ended up here. There was no long term plan, I met Sionnach and would have moved to Siberia if that's where she lived but luckily it was Kerry.
The pace of life is much slower, the roads are quiet, the people are nice, the politics and general tone of the country is much less polarised. And the scenery....I've been here four years now and still every day feels like a holiday. I drove out to Cuan pier yesterday, about 12 people on the beach, stunning views across to Mount Brandon, sun on the water, a couple of sailboats anchored in the bay. Marram grass, sand drifting across the road. It's like all my childhood dreams of holidays distilled into one place and it's where I live. Still can't believe it.

Cyprus - great climate, lovely people, bilingual road signs, great food. What’s not to love.

When I was young it was Australia.

Either Syria or Iraq. I’m a real home bird so I feel the lifestyle they’ve got over there would be as close to Goldthorpe life as I could find.

Probably Australia- specifically Perth. Love the beaches, way of life and climate.

It's hard to beat Kerry on a sunny day. There's just 2 reasons that stop me moving there. The weather which means it is only sometimes a paradise and the poor international travel connections. I used to travel a lot pre-covid and flying from the west of Ireland to anywhere interesting is always a chore.

For me it would be a chalet in the French Alps. I love to ski, so there's that in winter. In the summer there is amazing scenery, hiking and adventure sport. The ski towns are forward thinking international communities, there's no litter, no crime, no pollution, no societal issues. What's not to love!

Living in Italy though is a bit like being vegan- you have to make sure you tell everyone.

Was looking at some holiday photos the other day, can't wait until I can step off a plane, feel the heat hit me and explore somewhere new. Lots of Italy still to see.
