    Yup. Us, Brentford and Southampton all have the same model. Just the other 2 teams are slightly ahead of us in the project. Buy, develop, sell on to bigger/higher up club, re-invest and repeat. The key is, every time you buy, you can spend more to increase the initial quality.

    Do they shed their key components as regularly though? They have continuity in the dug out and behind the scenes. We're on our fourth head coach and looking for our third CEO.

    So God has gone n taken half of the angels, I suppose that means God was only as good as his angels. Joking apart does that mean Stendel, Struber and Ismael were only as good because of their backroom staff? I know they would have helped but remember we lorded these coaches for what they achieved, But it may just have not been them that achieved them. It may have just been the workers that have been ever present during these coaches rains. Or the former god knows what he is taking with him and couldn't get the backroom staff he wanted because of new brexit rules.
    The West Brom board have gone all in with this appointment. It could look very foolish in 12 month's, Were maybe just maybe (remember I'm one of these owners critics) these owners may just do the impossible again!

    It does leave a bit of a bad taste in the mouth, but I think that's partly bad luck with Mowatt probably rocking up there too and Dane Murphy leaving at the same time. A fitting end to what hasn't been a great couple of weeks.

    Anyway, not too proud to admit that it would give me great pleasure if they fell short or finished below us next season!

    The article mentions compensation - how much do you think that would be? Surely it's pennies, especially for an Analyst?

    To be fair Watkins especially watched all his mates conor, bree and the snake quadruple there salary and thought I want some of that ipswich came for him bid rejected he banged a transfer request in that was rejected and then end of season we didn't see him for dust.... his career hasn't been the same since but he's made more money.

    That's the first time I've heard of analysts being poached. I expected Ismaels coaching staff to follow him and Mowatt was no surprise whatsoever but our analysts, club secretary, CEO, (and his missus) all jumping ship means we have lost 7 of the backroom staff in one swoop. That's unprecedented. Losing one player seems small beer comparatively

    Ive heard they also want to take half time draw man but there haggling with the club over compensation. Sad times

    Lol you would think so, but will he take it to the grave? Already been two years and we're on our third manager since Tonge left. It's getting old fast. As for Muzza, some say he's a lovely, lovely bloke, some say he's a snake, some say he eats live mice in the long grass. Personally, I couldn't warm to the guy, but don't like wild rumours (or hinting at rumours) - just come out with it
