    I see this board as (on the whole) a fairly balanced forum.

    There are other Barnsley forums that might be more your speed.

    Got the tee shirt...lol my brother always tells the tale about when I was 19 ( that's some years ago lol ) I'd been out and got totally blathered....blathered to the point that I was so drunk I must have passed out and fell asleep on the loo ...apparently he got up in the middle of the night..wanting to pee and. found me sitting there... trousers round my ankles my head on my shoulder...says I was so motionless that at one point he honestly thought I was dead having called my name numerous times along with gentle shakes ....he was just about to shout for help when I apparently groaned but yet he still couldn't wake me up....when questioned what he did next....he says he rolled me to one side ..did what he had to do and rolled me back.....where I remained until my dad got up...found me and all he'll broke loose....lol

    When did people become so divided? Is it a new thing? Advent of social media ? Might be because I'm physically and mentally exhausted but it's draining - people constantly on the attack about one thing or another. Quite glad I grew up when I don't remember country being like it is at the moment.

    People tended to be united round here about that - far more factions now from what I can see. Certainly didn't really know what people thought about miners on a whole outside of Barnsley. Certainly can't remember as many attacks
