Interesting, just curious how people would respond given that we are told the mask is to protect others not ourselves so I can be a morally emotive subject.
Yes, in some situations. For me supermarkets are the least regulated places, so I'd probably wear one there.
Both fair comments. I dislike masks I must admit but in hospital, pharmacy's, supermarkets ect where people have no choice but to go I could accept it. In the pub just seems silly to me. Guess I should have put a 3rd option.
Fair enough, but a lot of folks are fearful. I'd rather show a bit of respect to them. Each to their own I guess.
Wife ordered 200 disposable ones the other day, I will take great pleasure in binning each and everyone of them
No. I'll wear one if instructed to do so, but as soon as the government give me the option, that's it. It's either necessary for public health reasons or it's not. Making it optional is a cop out, but typical of the way Johnson's lot operate.
It will certainly be interesting to see how many people are wearing a mask because they have to rather than because they think it makes a difference. Personally it's the testing of healthy people and shutting down school bubbles that I'm sick to death off and hope they do away with in time for September.
I won't be. I'll trust the vaccine and the immune system and after nearly a year and a half under restrictions I cannot wait for a bit more normality. If I am under the weather I will put one on out of courtesy. I may decide when it gets colder again to wear one to keep the face warm as it wasn't too bad in winter. Wearing one now fit and healthy in summer weather is uncomfortable and not for me.
I think I might wear one in supermarkets and in winter if I use public transport to stop flu as much as anything but can’t wait to bin them.
