    Wouldn't go for Woodrow as I don't think a striker should be captain. Wouldn't pick Soll as I would rather we had someone who's guaranteed to start regularly. Has to be Helik or Collins.

    Why won't Sollbauer start on a regular basis under the new Head Coach? Has Markus stated this'll be the case? Forgive my ignorance, but I wasn't aware of him highlighting the current players who aren't in his plans.

    I can maybe think of reasons a striker maybe shouldn’t be a captain. I disagree with them all but I can maybe think of some.

    I can’t think of any reasons for a striker not to be captain that are not 10x more applicable to goalkeeper.

    Maybe he will be but I don't see Andersen or Helik not starting after the season they both just had.

    NotWoodrow for me, nowt against Woodrow but never particularly liked forwards as captains, I prefer midfielders or defenders .
    Needs to be somebody inspirational who commands respect, Solly would be ideal if he’s getting regular pitch time IMHO.

    Not sure how much of a difference the role of captain makes on the pitch these days, so it's hard to say without knowing the players off the pitch. Leadership behind the scenes is arguably more important.

    for me it would be solly or helik as i prefer a captain to play at the back as he tends to see more of the game, but i think helik will get more game time

    Is Solly an automatic starter though? He's behind Andersen and Helik, and at least on par with Sibbick. We then have Kitchen getting back to fitness. As dependable as Sollbauer has been in the past, I do think his amount of game time will naturally decline.

    Got to be Helik for me, unless Sollbauer is going to be playing 90% or more of games (which I don't think he will).
